eWheelz is Pakistan's verified electric vehicle marketplace, operated by eWheelz (Pvt) Limited. Our platform is available at ewheelz.pk and via our mobile application. When we say "eWheelz", "we", "us" or "our", we mean eWheelz (Pvt) Limited.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website or mobile app, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Please read it carefully.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect data you give us directly and data generated automatically when you use our platform.

3. How We Use Your Data

• ✓To operate the marketplace — showing your listings to buyers, sending the seller manage link, and enabling buyer–seller WhatsApp contact.
• ✓To improve the platform — analysing anonymous usage patterns to fix bugs and prioritise features.
• ✓To send the weekly EV Digest newsletter, if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.
• ✓To respond to enquiries sent through our contact page or WhatsApp.
• ✓To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
• ✓To comply with applicable Pakistani law and respond to lawful requests from government or regulatory authorities.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. Listing Visibility

When you post a listing, your vehicle details, price, city, and contact phone/WhatsApp number are publicly visible to all users. Do not include information in your listing that you do not wish to be publicly visible.

Your seller token (the manage URL) is never publicly displayed. Keep it safe — it is the only way to mark your listing as sold.

6. Data Sharing

We share data only in the following limited cases:

• —With infrastructure providers (Vercel, Neon) who process data solely to operate our platform under strict data processing agreements.

• —With your explicit consent — for example, when your listing contact details are shown to a prospective buyer.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Listings are retained for 12 months after they are marked sold or expire, then deleted. Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time (see section 8).

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security: HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, cryptographic seller tokens, and access controls on our database. No internet transmission is 100% secure. Do not share your seller manage URL with anyone you do not trust.

10. Children

eWheelz is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email (if you have an account) or a banner on the site. Continued use of eWheelz after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
